BritMates is a Korean platform that connects freelance English tutors from all over the world with students in South Korea. We offer online teaching tools designed to make the virtual learning experience super easy and effective for both students and tutors. All lessons are carried out online so you can work anywhere at any time!

Our English Tutors are experienced individuals that inspire and motivate students to embrace cosmopolitan moral standards and culture. As an English Tutor you will be part of our innovative virtual teaching team. Working as a freelancer, time management is one of the most important factors. With us, you will be able to take ownership of your schedule and decide when and how you would like to deliver your lessons. You should be able to follow BritMates’ brand guideline and implement our teaching philosophy into your own teaching. Curriculum and teaching materials will be provided and they will include subjects like reading, phonics, speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar and writing.
As well as the academic curriculum, we also provide lessons that are more interactive and conversational. This is where you will shine the most! We provide BritMate’s own unique characteristics that emphasis our brand identity and global culture. We are more than just a tutoring platform but a community where teachers and students form a sense of friendship. Students are very interested in your story, your everyday lives- even your mundane lifestyle maybe an eye-opening insight into your culture! The Role
The classes run according to the South Korean time (GMT+9), and the peak time will be between 3pm-12am. You will be responsible for tracking pupils progress throughout their tuition. You may teach a wide range of age group with various level of English skills- complete beginners to advanced students. After each class you will create and provide personalised class reports.
