Royal AM president Shauwn Mkhize has officially acknowledged the financial difficulties currently facing the club, including unpaid salaries for players and staff in December 2024. In a statement, Mkhize confirmed that the South African Revenue Service (SARS) has taken control of certain club assets as part of ongoing efforts to address the financial situation. Despite these challenges, she expressed optimism about the club's future. “Royal AM is committed to preserving the integrity of the club and ensuring its long-term success,” Mkhize said. “We remain optimistic that this situation will be resolved soon, and we will provide timely updates as developments unfold.'' SALARY : Grade 1: R293 670 – R337 860 per annum, (plus service benefits)
Grade 2: R358 626 - R409 275 per annum, (plus service benefits)

REQUIREMENTS : Basic R425 qualification (i.e. diploma or degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows
registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. Current
registration with the South African Nursing Council. No experience required after registration with
the SANC as Professional Nurse. For Grade 1: 0-2 years’ experience. For Grade 2: 10-19 years’
experience. Grade 3: 20-and above years of experiences Competencies/Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrate an understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing
practices. Perform a clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing
standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Promote quality of nursing care as
directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by the relevant health

DUTIES : Provide optimal, holistic, specialised nursing care with set standards and within a 
professional/legal framework. Effective utilisation of resources. Participate in training and 
research. Provide support to nursing services. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards 
and self-development. Act as shift leader in the unit (where necessary). Demonstrate effective 
communication with patients, supervisors and other health professionals and junior colleagues.
